The Toolkit is an evolution from the experience gathered using SASPI and Gold Standard;. The review has collected experiences and advice from experts across Local Authorities, Central Government, Health Care and Police; a road tested set of expert advice.
Some resources have been in used for a number of years; any reviews are always produced by experts from the relevant sectors and subject to consultation.
Any new resources (or updates) will be made available through this site. Organisations are invited to submit and share their local agreements.
The Scottish Government is also providing some additional assistance to early adopters of the new Information Sharing Agreement templates, which will be made available as soon as they are finalised, including:
- SPIRE – Scottish Primary Care Information Resource – Information Sharing Agreement with flexible opt out model
- NHS Central Register – Overarching Memorandum or Understanding between RG and NHS Scotland Boards for sharing information’s (LEARS Act).
- NSS (ISD), Care Inspectorate, Scottish Government – Information Sharing Agreement for Care Home Census.
- Fife Partnership – Overarching Memorandum of Understanding for information sharing within integrated H&SC services in line with the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014 and the National Health and Social Care Integration Strategy.
- GIRFEC – Information Sharing between multiple agencies for GIRFEC purposes (Getting It Right for Every Child – in line with the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014).
